Summary of regulations in effect
General provisions
Applies to full-time College students of BMTC; training is organized by academic year combined with the accumulation of modules/subjects according to each major's program.
- Target: full-time College students by each admission cohort
- Organized by semester, ensuring the prescribed total number of study weeks
- Minimum practice ratio around 50% (varies by major)
Training plan and duration
Standard training duration of 2.5 years (5 semesters); the opening date and schedule are announced before each cohort.
- An academic year has 2 main semesters, each 18–20 weeks
- A supplementary semester may be organized for retaking / grade improvement
- Missing more than 20% of a subject's hours may bar you from its final exam
Testing – assessment
Assessment on a 10-point scale, combining continuous assessment and the final subject exam as prescribed for each subject.
- Continuous assessment ~40%: attendance, mid-term tests, practice
- Final exam ~60%: theory or practice
- A subject is passed with an overall score of 5.0 or higher (10-point scale)
Re-examination / retake / grade improvement
Students who have not passed are given re-examinations/retakes according to the school's plan.
- Allowed to re-sit on the schedule the school announces after the main exam
- If the re-examination still fails, you must register to retake the subject
- You may register for grade-improvement study as prescribed by the program
Graduation internship
Internship at partner enterprises according to the major's plan, with an instructor for guidance and assessment.
- Internship duration and format follow each major's program
- An internship report and an assessment from the host unit are required
- Completing the internship is a condition for graduation consideration
Graduation requirements
Graduation is recognized upon completing the program and meeting all prescribed conditions.
- Accumulate enough subjects/modules with passing results
- Overall course GPA of 5.0 or higher
- Complete the internship, output standards and tuition obligations
